Staying At Home

March threw us all a curve ball with COVID-19, and we began working and schooling from home mid-month.  We know that when this is all behind us, we'll forget about the tears and frustration and instead remember this invaluable time together.  Home school with Mrs. Kale(!), eating all our meals with Daddy, learning new games, reading lots of books, movie nights, family basketball games and sleepovers in the basement...we are together and counting our blessings!
Eating out in early March...who knew it would be our last restaurant outing for a while?;)
Celebrating the birthday girl...Scout turned 11!
We gave her some doggie ice cream for her big day:)
Home School: Lots of handwriting practice for our preschooler and kindergartener:)
We've tried to learn a new activity every day, ranging from...
new board games like Bananagrams
and dominoes to...
arts and crafts to...
baking brownies to...
helping Daddy cut his hair:)
When the barber shops closed, Daddy enlisted his best helpers!
A daily workout including pushups and jumping jacks helps burn some energy:)
And we are so thankful for some warmer weather days to get outside:
Visiting the local park
Everett made a beautiful sidewalk chalk mosaic
and Patrick kept working on his handwriting
So proud:)
Big brother oversaw the artists from his favorite seat
